[1st email] Hi, Everyone. Lucky is settling in just fine. She is actually curled up on my computer desk as I send this. On the drive home, "Lucky" became Lucy, then Claire-Luce, called Claire. However, it doesn't matter what her offical name is now, because she only gets called Honey or Sweetheart.
The first night she was here, I was getting into bed and she popped right up on the bed like "And where do want me?" I burst out laughing. She settled right down at the foot of the bed. It's obvious she was well-used to that with her former mother. Have attached a couple of digipix....
[2nd email] ...  Lucky (now officially Claire) just came from the vet for her "establishment with the practice" visit. Her vet was impressed with her health and alertness - not to mention her sweet disposition ... Lisa Miro  [3/7/2008]
