Myles Mu-Shu's Home

Hi!  I just wanted to let you know that Myles is settling into his new home wonderfully! We brought him home Saturday afternoon, and my younger son took to him like he's never taken to any animal before.  Saturday, Myles mostly hung out on my bed and didn't do too much except allow us to pet him.  Yesterday morning, he ate and drank and really started exploring and letting his personality come out.  He's a very cute and loving cat.
One of our dogs really loves Myles -- I can tell she thinks he's neat.  The other dog isn't sure what to make of him yet, but they're both working on it. We've decided to keep his name as Myles (though we may end up spelling it Miles).  Officially, he's Myles Mu-Shu.
I'm attaching some pictures and will update you more as he settles more into our family.

I'm attaching two new pictures of Myles. He continues to settle in well.  We're still working
at getting rid of his stubborn sinus infection, but he happily takes his pill everyday, so it's
not a big deal.
The first picture is one of Myles's new hangouts -- the linen closet.  We accidentally left the door open one day, and he's made himself at home.  I try to leave the door open all
the time now.
The second picture is of Myles and one of our dogs, Josie (she was a rescue, too).  They
seem to really like each other, and Myles rolls on his back whenever he sees her.  Josie
usually hunches down and starts licking Myles's head.  Sometimes she does it too much and
Myles gets annoyed, but usually Myles seems to like it.

Since it's been many months, I'd thought I'd send in another Myles update.
Myles is usually called My-My now.  I'm so proud that his fur has gotten so dark since he was adopted -- a sign he's very healthy.  He's very, very loving.  All I have to do is touch him and he starts purring.  He loves to make biscuits on my belly (even drools sometimes) and be held.  Of course, he has to be held so he's facing you and looking right at your face. We laugh because Myles isn't the smartest cat in the world.  I say that what he lacks in intelligence, he makes up for in beauty and affection.  Still, it's better not to throw any surprises at him like moving his food dish to a new location.
