Shiva's Home

Shiva (formally Joshua) is the sweetest kitty I've ever seen!!  He joins big sister Kahlua and big brother Oliver in our little family.  He's laidback, content and is always making me laugh.  However he has QUITE a set of lungs on him, and screams while I'm getting his food ready.  Thank you so much for having the perfect cat ready for a home just when I needed him most!!

Gigi (fomallly Jolie) is a crazy girl.   She's constantly on the move, playing with something, chewing on something, or sleeping right on top of Shiva.  She also is in the habit of trying to nurse on him.  We call it "nukking."   ByndTheNrm      [6/14/2007]
I hope I'm not emailing too often, but I enjoy keeping you up-to-date on the two of Jade's kittens that I brought home last year, Shiva and Gigi.
As I'm sure you're aware, the twins celebrated their first birthday on 3/14 and boy did we celebrate!!  Grammy gave them mackerel and liver for dinner, they had a few bites of a birthday cupcake (well, the frosting anyway)... We sang Happy Birthday, and then there were presents!!  Catnip toys, furry mice, and a brand new three story climbing tower!  After cake, we had some catnip and played with our toys for a while until it was bedtime.
Thank you so much for allowing me to adopt these wonderful babies.  I hope you feel comfortable that they are much loved and very well cared for.

Well we certainly have had an exciting time these past few months!  In November we packed up everything we own, including our favorite fuzzy mice...

Because we were moving to Massachusetts!!!
We now live in a big old house with Mommy, Grammy and Grampy who spoil us rotten!  We had turkey on Thanksgiving, ham and eggs for breakfast on Christmas Day, and we get catnip and new toys all the time!  We are SO loved and so well taken care of here, and we're getting so big!!  There are three floors to explore, plenty of food and treats, and special boxes all over the house with blankets specifically for kitty naps.  The only part we didn't really like was the 16 hour ride from North Carolina to Massachusetts!  We shared a big giant kitty carrier, and big brother Oliver had his own.  Fortunately our vet gave Mommy something to help our nerves, and we made it with minimal squawking and hollering.  We just wanted everyone at Cat Tails to know how well taken care of we are.  We hope all your kitties end up so lucky!!
