Daisy Mae
- "Older cats never get adopted" the saying goes but Daisy Mae proved everyone wrong. At 13 years old and missing most of her teeth, she was adopted by a very loving vet tech who understood that every cat deserves a home.
"Emily
, now named Haley, is adjusting very well to life with my existing cat, Juno, and to my husband and me.
She is so playful and so cuddly.
We just love her.
I attached a photo to show how well she and Juno are getting along.
I am amazed and pleased that they have taken to each other so quickly! ... we
are all very happy with this new family member." Jennifer Charron
Ginger
came to us with a litter of kittens. The kittens were all adopted (of course) but Pearl had an old eye injury that most people can't overlook. Fortunately for Ginger (and Pearl) a loving family fell in love with them both. [1/12/2005]
Allie Kat
- We all loved this wonderful cat. She was turned in to us because the owners built a new home and they did not want to get cat hair on their new furniture. Can you imagine? Lucky for Allie, a woman and her dog fell in love and Allie did too.
Buttercup
- Came to our organization with kittens. The kittens all got adopted leaving Buttercup alone until a wonderful woman came to look at the cats and took Buttercup home. We even got a great volunteer in the bargain.
Success Stories (A)
These are some of our cats that have found nice homes
Note from Gigi, Joe and
their new feline companion, Christmas.
Hi to all at Cat Tails! It will be a week tomorrow that I will have been with my new family. After sniffing things out and getting to know all the sounds and smells of everything I started to settle in some. My new feline roommate Lucky doesn't seem to be so bad, we can be cordial and will even play together if the mood strikes us. I especially like to play sneak attack on a silk fern and bat around alot of the babies toys. Not too sure if my new family can appreciate my early morning and late night bursts of energy. Although they are always ready to greet and pet me even when I want to catch a cat nap. I'm receiving lots of love and attention and purr alot of the time. This is the Purrfect home for me! Well that's all for now I feel a nap coming on.
Love,

Cassidy, now named Peppy, sleeps with the two kids in the family. She is very sweet and affectionate. Peppy is teaching Victoria's little brother to use the litter box versus "potty training".... A ball of fun!
Kismet
tested positive for leukemia after a wonderful young couple adopted her. Thankfully, they decided to keep "Kizzy" who now has a human baby as a best friend. [1/12/2005]

"The Untold Story"
Clara Bea & Percy
have been enjoying their new home with lots of love given by their wonderful adopted parents, Brad and Sarah Hughes.
Dooley
has a fine life on 30 acres of land. She had a tuff beginning in life and now she has a permanent home with her foster mom.
Swanky
is a "special needs" kitten that developed neurological problems as a result of a very high fever. He recovered from the fever but it left Swanky with the inability to control his back legs very well. Life is all good for Swanky
though because a nice lady fell in love and knew that you can't judge a book by it's cover. [1/12/2005]
Ethel
- Once thought to be the nastiest cat on earth, Ethel now lives the good life with one of our volunteers.
Pearl
was taken from Animal Control on the day they were going to put her to sleep. After being returned due to allergies, Pearl is now living with Ginger (also featured here) living the good life as a pampered pet in a loving family. [1/12/2005]
Gabe & Gabby
have now found a new loving home. Looking forward to lots of pictures and stories about them in the near future.
